Approximately Ninety Air Travels Connected to Jeffrey Epstein Reportedly Landed at or Took Off from UK Airfields
A review has identified that close to 90 aircraft journeys associated to Jeffrey Epstein are said to have touched down at and left British airports, with some allegedly having onboard British women who assert they were victimized by the found guilty sex offender.
Aviation Records Reveal Trail of Travel
The flight logs were part of thousands of legal papers and papers made public by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein that have been disclosed over the last year. The investigation found 87 flights tied to Epstein – including many that were previously unknown – landing or taking off from UK airports between the early 1990s and 2018.
Passenger Details and After Guilty Verdict Flights
Unidentified women were recorded among the passengers flying to and from the UK. Notably, 15 of these flights involving the UK happened subsequent to Epstein’s 2008 guilty verdict for soliciting sex from a minor.
“This is ‘astonishing’ that there had never been a ‘full-scale UK investigation’ into his activities in the country,” stated US lawyers representing hundreds of Epstein survivors.
UK Survivors and Legal Proceedings
Testimony from one of the UK-based survivors aided the conviction of Epstein’s associate socialite Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. But, that victim has not been approached by police in the UK, according to her Florida-based lawyer.
In a statement, the Metropolitan police indicated they had “not been provided with any further evidence that would support restarting the investigation.” They noted, “Should fresh and pertinent evidence be presented to us, including any arising from the release of material in the US, we will assess it.”
Ongoing Disclosure and Legal Rulings
Proposed legislation to disclose every document held by the American government in concerning Epstein was approved by the US Congress last month. The US justice department has until 19 December to comply. Hundreds of thousands of files are anticipated to be released.
In a related development, a federal judge ruled last week that the DOJ could publicly release case files from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epstein’s long-term associate, who is serving a 20-year jail term over the charges.
