Eulogies Flow for the Reiners as Autopsy Reports Face a Security Hold.

Well beyond 14 days after the tragic deaths of esteemed filmmaker Rob Reiner and his partner, photographer Michele Reiner, peers and loved ones persist in remembering the pair.

A Heartfelt Farewell: Cary Elwes Recalls His Director

Sharing on Instagram, actor Cary Elwes, who was featured in Reiner's iconic movie *The Princess Bride*, mentioned he only now felt prepared to share openly about his personal sorrow.

"Adequate time has elapsed that I can finally articulate my loss into words," shared Elwes, noting that his introductory moment with Reiner made him fall in love. "Once we started spending more time together I realized this was someone I wanted in my life."

The actor posted behind-the-scenes footage from the film, adding that he cannot recall "one day without laughter".

"The movie is about devotion, fidelity and selflessness. Values that Rob held dear. Which is among the many reasons he was the ideal person to guide it," Elwes wrote.

He went on to praise Michele Reiner, noting: "Asserting that they were a great team would be an oversimplification. My heart still aches every time I recall you." He ended with a quote from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but existence is agony without you."

Martin Scorsese Remembers a Colleague and Comrade

In a distinct tribute, acclaimed director Martin Scorsese paid homage to Reiner, whom he initially encountered in the 1970s.

"From the start, I loved being with Rob. We had a instant connection for each other. He was hilarious and sometimes acutely humorous, but he was never the kind of guy who would command the room," Scorsese shared.

Scorsese mentioned Reiner's cameo appearance in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, portraying the father of the protagonist.

"He could improvise with the best. He was a master at comedy, he worked beautifully with his co-stars, and he grasped the human predicament of his character," Scorsese wrote.

Judicial Actions: Autopsy Reports Sealed

In a new development, a Los Angeles court official ruled to bar the disclosure of the Reiners' post-mortem findings, following a petition from the LAPD.

A judicial mandate issued a security hold on the investigation to restrict the public release of "related notes, notes, reports or photos" associated with the probe.

The coroner's office had previously confirmed their deaths were the result of foul play, with a public database citing the cause as "wounds from an edged weapon".

Fallout and Commentary

After the killings, public personalities shared different responses.

Ex-President Donald Trump wrote on the matter, offering controversial statements that were broadly criticized by several individuals.

Podcaster Joe Rogan added his criticism to the critics recently. Conversing on his show, Rogan characterized the remarks as "shocking" and implied they showed a worrisome deficiency of sympathy.

Rogan finished by remarking that an adviser ought to have intervened when the decision to comment on the death was made.
